Description
Tarrago Primer is a product specially developed as a priming treatment for leather dyeing work, improving the penetration and setting of the color.
- Suitable for leather, suede and nubuck.
- Not recommended for PVC-based synthetic leathers.
- Available in different formats: 125ml / 500ml / 1L
- The Primer is a base, not a dye.

How to use
- Remove dust with a brush.
- Clean previously with Tarrago Universal Cleaner. Note: Pre-removal of the finishing is not necessary.
- Apply a generous amount on the surface to be dyed with an application brush o spray gun/airbrush (The use of globes and mask is recommended) If needed, apply a second coat in suede, nubuck or split products.
- In leather products remove with a cloth any possible residue.
- Once the product has been applied, let it dry for 6 hours. In leather products apply a second coat and let it dry 6 hours.
- Apply Tarrago Universal Acrylic Dye on smooth leather or Tarrago Suede Color Dye on suede, nubuck or split leather. Let dry during 6 hours. In suede, nubuck or split, apply Tarrago Protector to fix de color and Tarrago Suede Renovator for regular care in an appropriate color.
Tips
When dyeing leather footwear from a dark color to a light color, use Tarrago colorless primer.
When dyeing leather footwear from a light color to a dark color, use Tarrago Primer which most closely matches the color of the Tarrago Color Dye to be applied.
